Bristol based, 2D & 3D Motion designer
I’ve been in the creative industry for over 15 years, working with many fantastic clients and creative partners. In 2021 I started my freelance career, choosing to specialise in 2D & 3D motion graphics.
My art and design background provides strong fundamentals such as colour theory and composition, and I love to create work in a variety of styles. I’m also not shy of the technical side of motion graphics, which helps to realise any ideas, creatively or technically.
Pretty pictures and clever graphics are nice, but my sworn duty for each project is to tell a story. At age 16 I found a passion for setting stories in motion and I’ve carried this through all my work since.
I’m friends (or frenemies) with most of the major creative software, including design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma, video editing and colour grading with Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve, and of course Adobe After Effects for motion design & compositing.
You could say I’m a jack of all trades, master of a certain percentage of them.
I have a broad range of 3D skills from modelling, layout and animation, to shading, lighting and rendering. I’m comfortable with photorealistic and NPR styles. I also have experience with simulation including fire, liquid, cloth and rigid body.
My main 3D software is Blender, others I’ve worked with include Embergen, Marvellous Designer, Maya, Cinema 4D and Unreal.
I’m currently available for new work so please reach out if you’re interested in working with me.
